Accessibility Statement
The Puglia Wine World portal has been developed following the Design Guidelines for websites and digital services of the Public Administration, making the content, structure, and behavior of the digital tools accessible to all users, according to the legal requirements of Law L. 4/2004 and subsequent amendments and the related “Guidelines on the accessibility of digital tools,” issued by AGID with Determination No. 396 dated September 8, 2020.

Portal Development
The portal has been developed using HTML markup language and CSS style sheets (ver. 3).International guidelines defined by the W3C for accessibility – the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.0 – have also been respected.

Accessibility Plugin
A dedicated plugin has been implemented to optimize access for all users who need to use specific navigation features of the portal. The Plugin provides the necessary tools to comply with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 of the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C) at level AA.

These guidelines explain how to make web content accessible to people with a wide range of disabilities. Adhering to these guidelines helps us ensure that the website is accessible to all people: blind people, people with motor disabilities, visual impairments, cognitive disabilities, and more.

The font used is Titillium web.

Adding the “alt” attribute to images provides alternative text that helps blind people or screen readers understand the content of the images.

Keyboard Shortcuts
Keyboard shortcuts represent a navigation system that allows you to explore different sections of the website using the keyboard. Usually, they are activated by combining the ALT key with the shortcut key (the procedure may vary depending on the browser; it is recommended to consult the specific guide of the browser in use).

Accessibility Commitment
The Puglia Wine World portal will be constantly updated to provide an excellent online experience for all users. Puglia Wine World is committed to maintaining compliance with the AA level success criteria of the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines.
