The millenary love for vines and wine, on the part of the people over whom Frederick and Castel del Monte dominate, is sedimented in the many documents kept in archives and monastic libraries. Even art bears witness to the importance of wine here, in the fine production area of Castel del Monte CGDO Red Reserve a which is exported all over the world. The splendid Magna-Graecia collection of the Jatta Museum in Ruvo di Puglia shows the close link between man’s knowledge and the peculiarities of each wine. Castel del Monte is a UNESCO site and a tourist destination all year round.
Castel del Monte Red Reserve  CGDO in the glass, after the minimum two years of ageing required, has the great charm of a wine which is the fruit of nature, of man’s knowledge and of time. Its colour ranges from ruby red to garnet red with aging, the nose is characteristic and fine, at the palate, bodied and well balanced .
